    Default new tyres

Which ones should i go for?

I only need the 2 front tyres doing as they are getting close to the edge

    Ive been given 3 choices:

    Toyo Proxes 215/50/17 - £85
    Viedestien 215/50/17 - £103
    Goodyear ntc5 215/50/17 - £109

Or do i get some cheap £50 jobs, chuck them on the back, an wait until those go down, an get a full set of 225/40/17's???

    Advice please?

Go for 225's anyway. You can fit them to the car along with 215's on the other end no problems, despite what the monkeys at kwikfit might say.

And I'd be onto the Goodyear Eagle F1, GSD3's while they're still out there. Superb tyres.

Might just do that, would they be better on front or back?

They say to put new tyres on the back, I just put them where ever they are needed.

Either or, I just happened to put them on the back of my SRi first as they wore out first after I'd rotated the tyres anyway.

On the Signum, I just replaced the fronts as they wore out. Don't subscribe to the new tyres on back first mentality.
