    Default Alternative to Megs 83

Had trouble locating some of this stuff, most of my local places only stock Autoglym. Found Megs 83 online, but don't hoping to get it for the weekend... Can anyone recommend an alternative to 83, for removing light swirls. Got Megs steps 1-3 to polish it up with, just need something slightly abrasive to remove the swirls first...

Megs Scratch X from Halfords mate. SRP works well also with plenty of fillers in it.

Tried scratch X and it's pretty good but seriously expensive in Halfords and I found you have to use it a few times over! Got it dirt cheap from Walmart in the USA before, but not going back for a few weeks... Might give the SRP a go, was looking at it today...

    Cheers.

Are you applying the polish by hand or machine ?
If you have a PC or similar and scratchX isn't shifting the scratches, then they're too deep. Doubt the Megs 83 would do any better, so you may need a pro to deal with them.
If you can feel the scratches with a fingernail, chances are they ain't ever fully coming out !

They're not too bad, just light swirls which show up as haze in sunlight.

Megs recommend 3 or 4 goes with scratch x, due to the diminishing abrasive technology.

I'm using a cheap random orbital buffer to apply it. It's worked quite well so far but I seem to be going through quite a lot of the stuff!

#83 has more cut than Scratch X , It is a pretty mild product. I would order some #80 , and wait for it to come, vx paint is pretty soft and #80 will do the trick. Time is the key, I would wait for the right product rather than rushing for the weekend, though if you order today from Clean & shiney it will most likely be with you tomorrow anyhoo ..
