I dont believe it !!!

I dont believe it, Ive had my vectra for about three weeks now and its the newest car ive ever owned (its a 55 plate), didnt it only go and break down yesterday !! Ive been very lucky with cars and have never broken down before even when I owned a ten year old 350BHP nissan 300zx !

Anyway, luckily it is still under warranty,so I called vauxhall assist and the AA were there an hour later, they diagnosed a faulty alternator which wasn`t charging the battery, AA guy charged the battery and I booked the car into davidsons of morpeth.

They had a courtesy car ready without me having to beg and plead (which I have had to do in the past with other garages ) a brand new alternator was fitted and the car is now back on my drive ! they even did the recall work on the handbrake,

I was well p***ed when the car conked out, but it was all sorted with the minimum of fuss, well done Davidsons. ( even though they made me drive a corsa for a day BLARGHHH !!!)

You should be okay apparently you've one of the most reliable engines on the forum.....damn a pig just flew over head and sh!t in me tea!

Glad to hear that it was nothing major and you back on the road m8....

I had a corsa sxi 19cdti the day when mine went in for the handbrake recall and something to do with the turbo
