    Default NCT5 Tyre

I have one tyre that is at its wear limit so needs to be replaced. The tyre the other side has about 4mm left. I want to move to 225/45 R17 but have to do this in pairs.

Anyone interested in one part worn NCT5 tyre (XL)? £25+P&P

Alternatively, if anyone has a part worn NCT5 tyre they do not want I may be interested - just to keep me going. Needs to be XL.

    Cheers.

Can you confirm that this is indeed a XL?

Could you take some photos, especially showing any cuts, damage, and/or repairs and also one of the sidewall specification showing that it is indeed a XL / 95W

My car went for its MoT today, passed on everything with an advisory that my offside tyre is now at 1.6mm
I've been debating whether to go back to 225/45R17 Eagles, or see how the new nearside tyre has worn, but it still has 4mm on it

Finally, can you get a quote for P&P to Cumbernauld, by Parcel Force and by DHL

I wil try to get some photos. The tyre is an XL (it has come off my 3.0l CDTi). As far as I know there are no cuts and the tyre has never been repaired.

If you still have it I would like to purchase this from you
All I need to know is the postage cost, but it reckon between £7 and £10
I can make instant PayPal payment, and will add £2.00 to cover any fee/transaction costs

Sorry M8internet, I have just looked at the tyre and it is actually a 91Y, i.e not the extra load version. I never checked.

This is more concerning as my two remaining NCT5's on the front are also 91Y's and these should be 94Y as it is the 3.0l. Some dick of a previous owner has put the wrong tryes on it. And what is even worse, the dealer I bought it from replaced one tyre and they got it wrong also. Another reason to avoid Whitmores in Sevenoaks.

Good luck with finding your tyre.

    Mark

    Cheers for checking
The NCT5 is normally 91V and the XL version is normally 95W
I had the same problem when I first ordered a set of two tyres, arrived the same day
I looked at them before they were fitted, they too had received 91V instead of the XL 95W I had asked for
They advised me it would be at least 4 days before they would arrive!
The next time I went to order two they recognised me and knew I was after XL tyres
The time after that they had already written down my order, but that was when I wanted to change from the NCT5 to the Eagle F1

I've found someone with a spare Eagle F1, so I might just go back to dumping the NCT5 again!
