confused Help needed (non Vec C)

My daughter has just changed to a VW Beetle after 3 trouble free years of a Corsa B - thats not the issue.

It came with a VW roof rack and cycle carriers, upon removing them (too much wind noise) the roof rack was resting (?) on clear adhesive protectors which are a nightmare to remove.

    Has anyone any suggestions ?

Not forgetting a little bit of wax to protect the paint

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the replies, she shot off to the pub before I got the hair dryer out
So I watched the Barca v Man U game - should have spent the time cleaning the ketttle.

If she's not gone out tomorrow evening (& it's dry) - I'll use the hair dryer and then clean up the residue with Megs Gold Class Bug & Tar remover, then apply a little Megs QD followed by a small amount of Gold Class paste.

I'll report back with before & after pics.

Should have stayed at home and sorted this, it was only a 0-0 draw lol

Look forward to hearing/seeing how you get on.

OK it's been a few weeks since I posted this, as my daughter had left her car at home today and bummed a lift into work with her brother (how nice), I thought it best to attach those nasty sticky protective patches.

    The before pictures

After taking everyones tips (needs more work) I just cleaned the affected area tooo hot to do a complete car clean.

    Hopefully she'll spot the difference
