    Default 3.2 ......... Which oil ?

I'd be grateful if the guys with 3.2 's would let me know which oil they use as my elite is dying for a service !!

Also is there anything advice wise you can tell me regarding the service as I will be doing it myself

I aint a novice by any means and feel up to the job , just never serviced anything as big as this before.
    Cheers guys.

Vauxhall semi-synthetic. 5w-40 from memory. I'll check 2mo if you don't get a definate answer by then.

    Vehicle : Vectra

    Trim : SRI NAV XP

    Engine : 1.9 CDTI 150

    Year : 2007

    Mileage : 72K

For extended service intervals (20,000/2 years) it just has to be 5W-30 fully synthetic.
Otherwise you can use 10W-40 semi-synthetic.

I get my 2.0T serviced yearly, do less than 10,000 miles a year and I use 5W-30 fully synthetic, as it is better for the turbo. But, hey, each to his own.

    use 5w30 fully synthetic..

it's dead easy on the 3.2's... oil filter is a disposable element found in a alloy casting with a 23mm nut on it down the front of the engine by the exhaust manifold.. sump plug is T45 torx bit.. refill with 4.75 litres of oil.

My bad, just checked in my garage.
Mark had it. It's 5w30 fully synthetic, Vauxhall's own.
