Yer can ask us lot!, somebody may know the answer!

There are guys on here who do work at Vx, just depends if you're after somebody in production, customer service/management or dealership?

To get a new key is almost as much as a new set of locking nuts with key! , but seeing as you have the key code it's probably the easiest option.

Yep, sounds about right. I was going to say £30 + VAT, so in the same ball park. Flippin' rip off when the whole set isn't that much more!, but they've got you by the balls if they know you need the key to get the nuts off.

Other option is to just buy the new set and find somewhere that has ripper sockets to remove the nuts, but unless you can find somebody to do it FOC then it'll cost more than just buying the key - plus increased risk of damaging the alloys!

Why can't Vx just charge a sensible price for the key?

Did they change the key on later years? I ask as I hear numerous complaints about the flimsiness of the keys, yet mine has been used umpteen times without any problems (03 model).

Watch this, next time I take my wheels off the ferker will break now! lol
