    Default Removing locking wheel nuts

Having had my signum now for nearly 6 months without having a locking wheel nut key, i decided it was about time to get something done.
Its only a matter of time before i get a flat.
so i rang VH and asked if they had a universay key to remove them and was told no we dont have on, its a very big job to remove them but we will do it for £160 + VAT.
For that price i would want a service aswell

so while out today i decided to call to a local tyre place where the owner said im not sure mate probably cant do out for u, sent the apprentice out to have a look within 5 mins the apprentice came back in with 4 "locking" wheel nuts in his had, i couldnt belive it how much was that i asked only to be told by the owner "dont worry about it" i couldnt belive my luck so i slipped the apprentice a tenner to get himself i pint with.

It's people like you that make me love my job

Usually when i go outside in the p*ssing rain to fit bulbs or wiper blades the customer will slip me a few quid. One guy even gave me a fiver for fixing his headlight and all i did was push the plug in further than he had!!

Nice to see a tyre place that give good service as the last one i went to took my wheels off, balanced them then told me price - rather than doing it the other way round.........
