Default Busy 3 weeks! (56k beware!)

Not been on here as much as usual recently as SWMBO wanted to "adapt" my study and turn it into a sun lounge/extra room. This involved a lot of work removing the existing radiators, wiring, floor etc, taking down the stud wall and rebuilding a wall 8ft further back. Then the wiring, pipework, studding all had to be re-done.
She wanted French doors fitting in place of the old window and the old door blocking up. A new floor was put down, ceiling coved and artexed, walls done, and as i wanted a TV on the wall, a new was aerial erected and all the wiring to it hidden.
It's been back breaking trying to fit it all in around work too but it has all turned out ok in the end.

3 weeks ago it looked like this after we got stuck in with a "big hammer"

OOPS!!!!!! The Dyson will be on overtime cleaning this lot up

    Wall moved back a bit

    Last Tuesday was an epic!
New wiring done, radiator in, wiring and wall mount for TV in, door blocked up, french doors in, and floor down.

    New wall tidied up.

Last weekend was a challenge to get it all finished, so it was up at 8am and by 8pm i had the walls done, door frames/archatrive on, painting finished, TV up, curtains up, sofas in. Sunday was spent doing the "finishing touches"

Hard work but SWMBO is really pleased so i'm in REALLY good books now
    .........mmmm.........now what do i want............

I have to say a BIG thanks to Ryan (mini me) for all his hard work and effort. Without him it would have taken a lot longer

Nice job Tony! I've been somewhat busy of late too with different areas of DIY stuff - although not quite on that scale though!
