    Default Debadging / Rebadging, why?

I've been looking through this forum for sometime and something puzzles me.
Why do people debadge their vectras? From the pictures they obviously value their cars, so they like them, but you wouldn't catch a ferari or a porsche owner ripping the badges off their cars? Or worse rebadging them as Fiat or VW, I kinda think if you've got a car you like theres nothing wrong with supporting the Marque? I'm fond of my vectra its dependable and good to drive and my dealers great so I wouldn't dream of taking my griffin off, too bizarre, they're cute little beasts.
    Not ashamed.

    Stick to your gunns mate!
And why not,....However for me i've loved the griffin since a child, but until the Insignia is released it's never moved on in design. So has started to look a little stale?

Any way the Blitz got glitzed and i jumped at the chance of having a colour coded front Blitz grill, and debaged the back, thing is i'm not sure if i know of a Ferrari that has it's Logo blown up in size and placed smack in the middle of the back of the car....It has to be said i removed to be converted and i was the second i did it,the rear of the veccy looks so much smarter without a silly giant badge(of whatever logo) stuck in the middle of it.

I've got the estate, and when it comes to detailing, the griffin makes it really hard work. It's so much easier to whip it off, and be able to get at the whole panel.

Plus, I think it looks better

I love the look of my boot when it's just been polished. It looks amazing when you seen the shine and not a massive silver badge lol

Purely for detailing with me mate, but also it smooths the boot out nicely. Exotics are not every day cars, there something for the weekend, and lets be honest, something to show off.

Remove it, then magnetise it with magnetic strip, hey presto easy to put it on and off as required.
