Default Haynes Motor Museum (Not 56K!!)

Spent this weekend in Wiltshire visiting some relatives. As we left around 6.30 am on Saturday and left at 7.00 pm on Sunday The roads were empty with the CC on most of the way.

Anyway nipped down to The Haynes Motor Museum on Sunday morning and was quite impressesd. Some really nice cars and exhibits.

    The Red Room

    Ex Ross Brawn Ferrari

XK220. Less than 2500 miles one of two brought brand new by a Chinese lady who decided they were too big to drive around London. One of the staff told me that they hate driving them because of the reflections on the windscreen.

    For Big Pete

    This was just hideous

    Couple of VXs

    E Type.

    Countach

The wing is massive. Unlike the rear view window.

    GT 40

    My Favourite. D type Jag.

Hmmm. No good in Multi Story's

    Esprit

    The American cars are huge.

    Restored Mob. car.

We were the only ones in the Speedway museum.

    F1 Cosworth Turbo engine.

    Old Citreon.

    Lagonda.

    Finally an Edsell.

Good half day out if you're in the area.

Sorry fellas, had to nip out.

    It's in Somerset

    http://www.haynesmotormuseum.com/home/index.html

The MX5 owners club have an annual meeting there.

I had a long chat with one of the staff there regarding the Jaguar and obviously the conversation came around to the the club. It's an deal venue with huge car parks, good cafe and there was a sign pointing to a track??
