Red face rear top suspension arms

Hi Ya, First Time Here So Bear With Me, Looks Good So Far
I Have A 1.9cdti Sri Whitch I Think Needs New Rear Top Arms,
Had A Look From Underneath Today And The Inner Bolts Are Nearly Impossible To See. Yet I See On Here People Are Saying Only About An Hour And Is Easy To Do. Is It Better From Underneath Or From In The Side Behind The Wheel If You See What I Mean, And Has Any One Replaced Just The Bushes !!
Also Excuse My Ignorance But Why Is There A Lot Of Talk About Egr Valves (what Do I Need Look Out For)
    Thanks

not sure about the top arm's but as for the egr, just type it into the search bit on the forum and you will see what all the fuss is about, and btw to the site

The rear arm's are not to bad to do little bit fiddily to get to the inner bolts and you can do them in an a hour or so. No you can't just change the bush's like the old vec B's it is the whole arm that you will have to replace witch is a shame. hth

I did my rear upper arms, took about an hour each side. Jacked up car, sat on axle stands & remove wheel. then you will be able to get at the bolts easier. The inner one will be easier to get at using an extension.
When you fit the new arms, I found it easier to put the inner bolt in first.
