Default Smoke out of rear wheels !

    Hi,

You probally read in my crusin post, about a concern which i bumped into.

Well i was driving as usual, over these country roads, braking hard when needed, and when I pulled over, so smoke coming out of my rear brakes.

The first thing i thought oh its just the brakes, but that where the handbrake is, and I am sure the handbrake was not left on during the drive.

Anyone could help on what it could be?

Much appreicated, got me worried now

sounds strange as you havent said that your front brakes were smoking as your front brakes do 90% of the braking and back brakes only 10% maybe your handbrake has been siezed on this can happen sometimes when the car been parked up for awhile

sounds like your rear brakes have seized up due to a rear caliper or hand brake cable once you get them sorted best to change the brake fluid to as the heat could of broke it down
