    Default Quick question about spoilers

    Good Afternoon,

I am thinking of buying the original IM. spoilers, front, rear, side skirts, and boot lip spoiler, but just wondered what material are these made out of.

LMF sell them at a extremely high price, which makes me think the material is the proper plastic stuff?

sorry if its a daft question, but I dont want to order them and end up with fibre glass, had a full body kit made of that on my astra, and with doing 60 miles everyday, the amount of stone chips that appeared, the picture below kinda describes it for me:

Any help will be much appreciated !

AFAIK it's all fibreglass - the price just reflects the build quality and brand name

All Vauxhall and Irmscher parts are proper GRP moulded plastic, non of it is Fibreglass.

LMF sell the proper kit so you should be OK.

as long as the paint job is good then the above shouldnt really happen either ... yes there will be stonechips as most people invariably get them if you do alot of miles but a decent paint job will help keep any damage down to a minimum

Yeah that pic looks almost as though there's no primer under the paint - no wonder it's come off in big flakes!!
