Or 2. Wait to see what happens for next year?

Can't afford one either, wont pay the Darling rate on one either, might change jobs soon so new cars will be out, could end up with a 55 face C next when they drop to about 5k.

The Insignias apparently got a new 2.0 litre DIRECT INJECTION diesel, are they doing away with the common rail?

Going to wait 12 months or so. The days that the VX Partners scheme swallowed up the first year depreciation on new cars have gone.

My last car was around £16,000 new. I got is for £12,000 and in less than 2 years it was worth £7000 as PX.

Will wait to I see one in the flesh before deciding if I like them or not.

Ive had me Veccy for 2 years now (54 Plate), hope to have it another 6 or so years. The insignia may have depreciated a fair bit by then. Depreciation on my Veccy by then will be inconsequential to me after 8 years since was purchased (motoring depreciation of about £800/year since it was purchased). In my view this is the best way to maximise your money when it comes to motoring so if its money you wanna save, hold on to yer veccy for as long as poss IMO.

    I will be waiting

Can't see the point of paying full list price then once the sales drop off vx will have loads of deals on & the depreciation on all cars is bad so there is know way I would pay full list price.
