    Question Front Seat Removal.

I've got my seat squeak back (it's driving me crazy) after the dealer said it was fixed, so this weekend i intend to take the seat out and wd40 everything that ain't foam or cloth !

My question is if i take the seat out, is it going to start illuminating the dash warning lights for the airbag or anything else that i'll have to go into the dealers to sort out ?

It shouldn't do, when we did paul's drivers seat that went back in no hassle, with no lights either.

Don't turn the ignition on with the seat disconnected, else you may get airbag warning lights

slide the seat forward and on the rails there are two t40 bolts undo them and tilt the seat up towards the front and pull back slightly and then lift out but remember to undo the seat tensioner wire first and on the side of the seat is the seat belt bolt with i think is a t30/35

Remember wd40 is not really a greasing type oil, it is more of a penetrating oil to free stiff nuts and bolts. You would be better to use some type of spray on grease, Which you can buy at any decent auto shop.

I've got some graphite grease that i use in my fishing reels, that should do the job.
