Bl**dy hell
Set off this morming at 7-30 with my wife to go to a funeral of a very dear friend in south Wales a round trip of 320 miles,a third of the way down the dreaded spanner lite came on stopped in a laybye for a few mins and restarted every thing ok, start back at 3pm same thing happened only 3 times finally went into limp home mode. I rang greenflag and they were with us within 1 hour and we got home at 7pm.so its off to the garage tomorrow to see whats what . bl**dy car. rant over
hopefull its not too serious, let us know tomorrow !

fingers crossed its not going tobe serious but knowing my luck just lately i cant see it changeing for the better.i will try and give an update tomoz. im on my second whiskey so far luverley
Heres an update on my troubles from thursday went to see my local(next road) independant mechanic yesterday told him the problems i had and he came to house this morning picked up the car to sort it out ,the fault codes read p0110,p1105,p0105,checked related components ok, remove& clean egr valve and clear fault codes £69 all in needless to say i was very pleased .
Ooops another diesel.....

Hiya sparky sorry to say it but the land of your fathers seems to have the same efect on petrol ones i had a s40 volvo and it came back home on the back of lorry last year from aberdovy it must be something in the air . loverly country though been there for a good few years not very good when it rains though.
