    Default petrol protests

    hiya all has anybody heard anything about fuel protests i heard a rumor that there has been talks but prob wont happen fuel has gone up to £1.24 for diesel up the road from me and £1.16 for petrol and i have heard its going up again 2p this weekend when is it going to stop

    not heard of any protests being planned, normally any plans hit the news quick, will be interesting if it did happen as did not affect as i was not old enough to drive with the last protest

    Local refinery (Stanlow) has now closed the private road that allowed the fuel protestors to get to the main gate last time.

    Can't see any protest here now being as effective as the last one as a result.

    I paid £1.24 for BP ultimate in Manchester earlier in the week. It's getting beyond a joke.

    Maybe, just maybe, if the present government did not decide to declare illegal wars on countries, then there would be more money for good causes, amongst them, allowing me more coppers in my pockets.

    it doesnt matter which government gets in power, they arent gonna drop the price of fuel to a reasonable amount.they know we have to buy it so its easy money

    i cant believe theres not been another fuel protest with the price what it is now. Im sure theese haulage firms are getting something back from the government in tax to compensate for the higher fuel costs why else would they not protest
