Do you give your cars a name?

Just thought I'd ask this question. I have two kids aged 3 and 7. My MG ZT was called angelina by my seven year old, because of a kids program about a ballerina...(I prefer to think it was after angelina jolie - racy and voluptuous).

After a discussion about the car and what "sat nav" is my 3 year hearing the word map has called the car Dora the Explorer because dora has a map. So my Signum 2.0T in black (the youngest thinks dora should be pink!) is now called Dora. I'm just curious to know if anyone else has a name for their car, or are my kids imaginations a little too much

Well the last one was called black thunder, god I miss that baby even though this one is an upgrade. No name for this one yet... maybe Silver Lightning?

I work on the theory of naming the car using the first letter of it's name. In this case the 'V' stands for 'Vic' or 'Victor' if I am angry.

On the BMW 130i as there is no name as such I use the 'B' & call it 'Bluey'.

THE CAR - now stop being so stupid. It's an inanimate object and does not have feelings. Once you name it/her the next step is to sleep with it.

Only joking my car is called - Bessie
