Hi all, I have a new pioneer headunit installed and now have some pioneer speakers to mount in the front doors.
Im unsure how the door panel comes off and how to take it off right in order not to damage it so that i fit the new speakers
    Please help...Thanks

Door handle trim off. Remove torx screws. Bottom of door card, 3 x ( i think) torx screws remove these too. Rest of the door card held on by them annoying plastic pop thingys. Once door card away, disconnect switches and cable to door release mechanism.. think thats about it..

Cheers pal, sounds straight forward i will give it a whirl, think it will be saturday now because of the weather.
Them annoying plastic pop thingys will just a good tug bring them off or is there a better way to get them off and can i reuse them or need to buy new ones to fit the door back together.

CHRIS you can get proper trim removal tool. but just use a very large fat flat screw driver and prize the door card away slowly from the clips and you should be able to reuse. HTH

There is a "how to" in the how to section on the user cp for a full detailed how to change the speakers.

Just a tip when refitting the door cards to your cars which I've used on several of my cars before which stops the plastic poppers breaking and it works too! Before refitting just put a blob of grease on each popper so when you need to remove the door card again,it enables the popper to slip off a little bit easier and stops them breaking which is a pain if you haven't got any handy.
