    rolleyes my lovely pink car

    my car is supposed to be red and looks a little faded. Anyone got some good advice on what products i need to bring the colour back to the original shade ...thanks

    go there and ask the question mate there will probably be some professional detailers that would give it a good going over with a machine and restore it. might cost a bit tho.

    for single stage paint you really dont want to hit it with anything any stronger than is absolutley necessary.

    The top part of the paint has dried out and is dead. You need to skim this off, get a lot of oils into the new paint to feed it, then lock them in with good protection.

    If working by hand, Autoglym SRP and lots of elbow will do it, but it will take quite a while. The other difficulty working by hand is the consistency of the finish. I use a chemical glaze for single stage paints, or oily final finish polishes on the machines shown and top with specific waxes to help protect.

    Consider a wax like dodo orange crush, will need to be applied monthly tho. Hope this helps.
