Default Hp Pda 1710 - Tom Tom For Sale

Right guys, I have had this in my office for some time so I thought I would fit it in the Siggy to take pictures then sell it.

The unit is fitted to the dash via a non-drill mounting bracket with the GPS module being fitted in the far left of the dash under the tax disc with the cable fed via the dash behind the glove box.

Power is fed from the lighter socket however it can be hard wired if you choose.

It is running tom tom sofware and the usual pocket pc software.

    Notes:-

I dont have the active syn cd(can be downloaded via microsoft)

The battery does not last long when not in the craddle(new battery approx £25)

It comes with, main unit, car cradle, tomtom wired gps reciever, pc usb cable, car supply lead, carry case. All as attached photo.

I would prefer to sell to someone in the North West, however alternative arrangements can be made.

I want £35 for the little beast!

    Feautres:-

The new HP iPAQ rz1710 pocket pc reflects a new innovative move in PDA strategy from HP. The HP iPAQ rz1710 is presently the lowest priced HP PDA from the new range of iPAQs, specifically engineered to fulfil the role of low priced PDA based GPS this is ideal. From it's specifications it is a very cut down version of most modern handheld computers but is ideal for Satellite Navigation [purchased seperately] due to its low price, bottom-based connection port and it's portrait and landscape viewing modes.

The HP iPAQ 1710 comes with a SDIO Secure Digital Slot allowing memory expansion via a SD memory Card for the storing of important documents or allowing you to turn your iPAQ PDA into a MP3 Player. Also ideal for the storage of maps if using as a pda based GPS system. SDIO also allows you to expand your functionality with Secure Digital Accessories such as modems and scanners.

With a broad range of software features and infrared, the HP iPAQ 1710 handheld is an essential device for the busy professional/person who wishes to communicate, access and manage information whenever they want and in general keep ahead of a busy personal/business environment or lifestyle. Infrared allows you to simply access the internet or email whenever you please regardless of where you are [requires compatible infrared-enabled mobile phone to act as a modem]. In addition this form of communication allows you to synchronise information with other handheld devices, laptops, mobile phones and desktop computers easily and accurately.

The range of software is easy to use reflecting the most popular basics you use on your home or office pc everyday. With the HP iPAQ 1710 comes Mobile Office 2003 providing cut down versions of Word, Excel and Outlook allowing you to remain productive and access your documents at all times. Outlook comes complete with everything needed to stay ahead of a busy schedule either work related or personal: reminders, appointments, alarms, notes, tasks, calendar. For those who wish to have a time out from work there is a range of games and a whole host of free applications are available on many web sites. For those who wish to watch small movies or listen to MP3s the HP iPAQ 1710 handheld comes with Microsoft Media Player 7.

Overall the HP iPAQ 1710 is a perfect example of a low range, low cost portable handheld computer giving you complete connectivity with it's main benefits being its price, light weight and landscape viewing mode.
