    Default Rear Light Clusters...

    ...Has anyone any pictures/info on how much you can take apart the rear light clusters? I have a little mod in mind, but need to know how much the clusters can strip down first really. Just thought I'd see if anyone knows before I break mine!

    Having just had a look at my original ones which are on the shelf (fitted some black lexus style one earlier), they do look like they come apart at all. Looks like the lens covers are glued to the back. Only the bulb holder seems to be detachable

    I want to be able to get to the inside edge. Not the lens, but the crome. I have an Idea but need to get to the back of this crome bit (inside the cluster out of site) if you know what I mean:

    Sorry, the crome inside by the reversing light, round to the side (where its in line with the rear wing)

    Knowing my luck I'll find a lump of multicolourd melted plastic! Then have to explain the combination of not able to drive the car & damaged oven!

    check the breakers yards, even if they are damaged, might give you a view inside to see what you are after.....guessing your thinking of fitting led's like the volvos maybe? :-)
