to add to payneys upset i had my car broken in to on saturday night and my screen nicked f*****g little chavs.
i was in bluewater shopping with my mum and the better half (must of been on drugs that day) for about 4 hours. when we came out i could see my car a cross the other side of the carpark and see that the hazard lights was on, i thought someone had just backed into my car or something but when i got to it my window had been broken and the screen had been stolen little f***ers but what really got me was that my £400 road angel was sitting on my drivers seat.
but what really f**ks me off is that the screen is now useless to anyone because it needs a anti theft code when you remove the power and you only have 15 seconds to input the code then it blows the prosesser chip inside with the power from the backup battery.

i bet thay done it with their hoods up too

you cant have nothing nice now days but life must go on. oh well

sorry to hear about your screen bud ,

I had my car vandalised once, I parked it back in the same place a few days later, I hid in the back seat behind limo tints with a baseball bat for a few hours,

their luck they didnt return.

Sorry to hear your bad news mate. You really cannot have anything decent nowadays, these d1ckheads just go out with a shopping list. That is part of the reason why I didn't go with the type of system you have or similar (other reason was cost LOL), just the good old 'strap the screens to the headrest' job, pack it all away when you leave the car.

Have you asked bluewater for the CCTV tapes? That place is camera'd up to the nines.. Don't know what the clarity is like but it may help catch the little Bar####ds..

I remember 10 years ago when car stereos went missing alot, then seemed to slow down, but now they seem to be at it again!

I've had a stereo stolen my Cortina. Not a window broken and the car was locked afterwards. Mind you I believe Ford had an issue with the amount of different keys on the Cortina.

I've also had a stereo stolen from a VW Scirocco. They smashed the quarter light this time. What pi55ed me off at the time was, they took the CD's as well. The stereo was a Kenwood with a years free insurance, that I claimed on and got it replaced. But obviously the CD's were never replaced.

It's just a sad fact of life. Just do all you can to protect what you've worked so hard for.

My mate (the silly sod) parked his 318 in Leicester at the weekend, and left his Palm, Roadangel and Trafficmaster on the dash.
Needless to say, when he came back he had no driver's window, and his toys had all gone....
