    Default Diesel Mapping

I have today been speaking to a friend at Vauxhall about the VXR Performance Centre. There will be a re-map offered for the 1.9 CDTi 150 which offers 200bhp and 330lb/ft of torque.

This is my eyes will be way better than the tuning box due to it doing more than play with the fueling, boost pressure, ignition etc will all be re-written, there is a downside as the cost is £600 but if rumours are true and the warranty is not effected, I will certianly be going down this route with the new car.

I am visiting the VXR Performance Centre for a tour on the 12th Feb, so I will let you all know how I get on.

    Blimey that's interesting.

It's a bit steep but should give better results than a box as you said Matt.

You guys on here always make me want to spend more cash.

Got to check the warranty side, but they built a 200bhp CDTi Astra Sports Hatch.

It is not steep for a proper re-map, but against a tuning box it is. But I am bigger fan of proper mapping than tuning box's.

I would not go that far as to say the 2nd 888 Astra is coming out, it is a limited run built by Thurlby Motors with help from the VXR Performance Centre, which just happens to be run by 888.

But it won't be like the original 888, it will be better.
