Sorry if this has been asked before, but i have done a bit of digging and found lots of different answers to this question.



What do the Vauxhall cars model names stand for, ie LS, SRI, GSI, CD etc etc?

For example i have read different stories about SRI meaning "Sports Rally Injection" to "Special Racing Injection" and even "Sport Recaro Injection" lol....CD even says company Director.....

anyone know the real answer?

SRi - Sport Racing Injection
GSi - Grande Sports Injection
