    Angry OFF with her head!!!

put the old girl in for a service with my father in laws garage yesterday, with specific instruction to change the glow plugs as shes got 95k on the clock and i was geting a bit of white smoke on start up.
came in from work last night not expecting any problems, hhmmmm that was a mistake. seems someone has already had a go and changing the glow plugs and made a real balls up of it. apparently one is sheered right off and another one has more wobble than a jelly and neither of them want to come out.
so shes off to sutton rebore on monday to see if they can get the plugs out, if not, its off with her head.

You could always try some eazy outs to get them out. Its a reverse threaded thread that you screw into a pilot hole, as it tightens up in the pilot it unscrews what is stuck. Far cheaper than drilling them out and you could do it yourself.

father in law says he will give the "eazy outs" a go, so will have to wait and see what the results of that are and then take it from there. I would love it if they worked because thats gonna be the cheapest option.

Was down my old dealership the other week and they have the same problem with the Vivaro vans. Even the injectors sheer or snap and everytime the head has to be sent away for re-threads!

Snowman, you got your ears on?
