With Atlantic too. Changed after using a comparison site.

They keep swapping places for who is the cheapest anyway but it's a piece of **** to change.

It all depends on where you live its best to use a couple of comparason sites, dont take them for gospel tho, Uswitch says i would save £200 if i switched to NPower all the others said it would be £17 which upon checking that was nearer the truth than Uswitch

Thats what i figured... been checking them out and suprisingly I told british gas that im off cos they are too expensive and they have offered me a better deal...lol....

Another Q... I have economy 7... we dont have storage heaters or use much electric at night... should i revert to normal? anyone changed over... any benifits to either?

I started off with Scottish Power at this property
On my first visit to uSwitch in 2005 I changed over to PowerGen, saving myself about 20%
The following year there was little to save so I stayed where I was, as the difference was just about made up by the tesco points
In 2006 I changed over to Atlantic Electric, saving a further 10%
However, in January of each year I get the equivalent of 6 weeks payment back

Yes, it can be hassle, I think the main problem is that it takes so long to complete!
