    Default Diy wheel refurb (Pics)

After slinding on some ice over the winter, one of my alloy's was quite badly damaged by the kerb. So decide to have a go at refurb.

Here is the wheel after a clean showing Damage.

Here is the wheel after filler and 800 wet and dry

Now several coats of filler primer

Primer rubbed down again to 800 wet and dry

Now 3 coats of star silver

finally paint rubbed down with 1200 and 2 coats lacquer

    The Finished result.

All In all I'm quite happy with the results and with the colour matchof the halfords paint.

All in all took about 24hrs but most of that is time for primer and paint to dry. The filler was isopon p38 as I couldn't get a plastic filler.
