    Default Traction control & ESP...........again

Sorry for this guys as it has been discussed many times before so it seems but here goes.............in the 2005 brochure it states that ESP & Traction Control is standard on my car (V6 SRI CDTI), stating that ESP is an option in the main listing but in the small print underneath 'standard on V6 models'.

I seem not to have any switches on the dash that relate to either, do I assume that they are fitted but unturnoffable? and if so does fitting the relevant switches make them both switchable?

    Regards.......

Your car should have TC and ESP ... Here in Sweden all Vectras got both.
Most on the other hand, dont have the switch ...
    Its part.nr: 13138265
    Give it a try!

Incidentally, there is no mention of 'Traction Control' in the manual as far as I can see!!

On cars with TC the switch turns TC off ....

We're not so safety-conscious here in Australia; only the top model ("CDXi") gets ESP, lower spec models just get TC

Thatīs not correct. The "standard" models (like mine) do not have switchable ESP. Only the GSI, SRI or similar have switches, but all cars in Sweden have ESP+TC
