me and the other half sat down with some bills and receipts from last year we nearly cried when we compared to this year.


last year / this year

Road tax per week £4.04 / £6.15

petrol per week £42 / £54

council tax p/w £15.73 / £18.82

electricity p/w £12.61 / £17.08

morgage per week £67.50 / £77.50

food / shopping p/w £120 / £155

car loan p/w £55 / £55

equals £311.88 / £383.55

and no pay rise from my boss this year and our lass got just under a £5 pay rise per week.

same here mate, all doom and gloom i'm afraid. Less nights in the pub too make it worse, you seem to work all week just to get by!!! NOT GOOD!!

I went to fill up this week, fill the car up every time I get home / go away so once every two weeks (two days when I had the vxr *lol*)... Yesterday night filled up wih diesel . how much a litre in Shetland ?????????????/
