    Default First ever claying done!!!!

Finally got round to claying the car today, started at 9.30 and finished at 2.30pm,this is what i did:

    1) Washed car and dried.
    2) Used Quick Clay kit.
    3) Polished with mirror image polish.(left over from valeting days)
    4) Cleaned wheels with auto-brite wheel cleaner and treated tyres to Meguairs Endurance gel.

Didn't get a chance to wax it,so maybe another day, well happy with the results, paintwork is like glass,amazing............

    State of clay bar during.......

    Claying bar when finished......

    Pic's of results...............

It looks superb Glen. 10/10 for dedication. Don't know anything about the polish you used so don't know if it provides any protection for the paint.

If not it might be worth sticking a sealent over the top like EGP to protect all the hard work and buy you some time to put the wax on in the future??

I tried to put some 915 on mine yesterday but it was too cold and late so ended up putting just a Quik Wax on.

    Anyway top job.

    I agree with steve...

i'd be sealing it asap. try jetseal 109 or similar.

Just to keep it nice and protected, otherwise you'll need to clay it again sooner.
