    Default Installing a induction kit on a v6

    does anybody know if i can git a induction kit for these cars ??

    I would imagine that the one posted recently could be made to fit with a little 'fixing' here and there.Not sure if there'd be anything other than the looks to recommend one though,assuming that you've already done the obligatory airbox and filter mods.

    so if i git one for a astra 1.9 cdti or the vectra 1.9 cdti that would fit on ??/
    would the 3.2 v6 one fit ??
    the air box mods i had done diddnt really do much so gunna try this and see what happens

    The thing with the V6 diesel is that you have to find somewhere else to put the ECU! LOL

    Yeah,so you're a bit stuck there really.It wouldn't have made a lot of difference (if any) and your wallet will remain at its present weight.

    meyb ill git a pannel fillter then
    do you no if it would make tht grunt noise when you boot it with a induction kit on ?

    I found that there was a bit more induction noise with the K&N filter fitted.Certainly if you listen to the air intake at tickover with the standard filter in and then listen to it at tickover with the K&N in,you can really hear the difference.

    As for the induction kit I wouldn't know TBH.

    ok they said if i drill holes in the bottom of the airbox that should help as well
    but dont no if i should try that??

    It will work,but you'll be sucking in warm air (cold air is best),especially in the Summer,so again it's probably not too clever.Other mods include (with Irmy grille) cutting out the third and some of the fourth slat along at the top of the grille to enable air to take a more direct route to the air intake.
