    Default

    Standard - 0.6 bar
    BSR Stage 1 - 1.0 bar
    BSR Stage 3 - 1.4/1.5 bar

As for increasing the boost further with a Stage 1 installed, not sure how you plan to do it without throwing up errors and dropping the turbo into safe mode. Is that what you were planning to do with the digital boost controller? i.e. increase the boost.

Why do you want to just increase the boost further when the Stage 1 has already increased it? Extra boost doesn't always mean more power and I can't help but think that as the boost parameters are set by the ECU software i.e. the remap all you're going to do is drop the turbo into safe mode.

As has been said on here very recently the BSR Stage 1 remap transforms the 2.0T without compromising engine safety. I have had no indications of increased engine stress as a result of the remap in fact if anything the car runs more smoothly, particularly if you do the airbox mod too. I'm sure others more technically aware will put your fears at rest.

Edit: Sorry, misread initial post. Thanks Duncan

The ECU has a nice little map of what the boost should be for x rpm and y load. If you play with it using a boost controller it may run fine at low loads and rpm but will probably drop into limp mode at higher loading. However, because the ECU does not have control of the Turbo, the effect of limp mode might not be very noticable, you don't loose all the power because the turbo is still boosting. So if you do said, you need to keep your eye open for the little amber light on the dash.

Sorry m8, not a scooby. I've never messed around with digital boost controllers. Nutron may have more input, but for somebody who's messed around a lot with their 2.0T, give rickyroo a shout. He no longer has his car, but he still visits the site. I don't know if he had a DBC or not, but maybe worth giving him a try.
