After cleaning the car today, i went to adjust the mirror glass on the drivers side ( on the switch ) and the passenger side move in the oposite direction at the same time !
Anyone else had this ?

Have consideration for the deaf, if you're gunna fart, make it smell !
yep, totally normal Phil......
quite normal Phil, drivers side operates both mirrors at once, and when switched to passenger side will operate that side only.
Yep Phil I found this out not long after I had my motor, made me wonder if it was "wonky".
I've had my new Vectra a week now and was suprised to find this on mine also. Is it fixable - I put it on the list for the first warranty visit.
Thanks
Martin
it's programmed into the car...it's not a fault at all, so it's not anything that you will get 'turned off' under warranty..
Mark - thanks for the reply - I'm struggling to know why though

struggling to know why?....
Whys that?... it's a 'feature' not a fault... just something that VX programmed into the door module software..
Mark - why give two buttons to select ns and os then control both when you select one. I adjusted the ns - then selected the os to suit me - and then discovered that the ns had also been adjusted also -so had to then go back to the ns to adjust again. I learnt a lesson from this - adjust os first!
Having driven lots of transits and larger vehicles I could see the benefit when tilting the mirrows down to see the kerbs when reversing i.e through just one button - just found it strange coming from an 04 same model vectra to the 07.
Regards
Martin
Thank [insert fav deity here], i was pretty close to ordering a new £150 keypad for the mirrors til i read this. Wonder how i could have not noticed this feature during the warranty period ???
