These 'enhanced fuels' will make very slight improvements because they actually clean the engine - well injector nozzles anyway and burn alot easier meaning slightly less fuel needed but I personally believe your being charged to make your imagination work harder!

To be honest, as time goes by and the fuel gets more expensive, the difference in cost between normal and 'super' stuff stays the same, so percentage-wise it's costing less and less...

ay also heard that if you upgrade to iridium plugs that combined with 99ron fuel makes a difference in your mpg. I'll stick with it see how it goes, only on 2nd fill up so far

TBH it will most likely be the spark plugs giving you the extra mpg, using a decent set and aligning them correctly will improve the performance very slightly. i personally think the v power is a load of cr@p, if you keep your injectors clean, with a bit of redex for example, and keep your oil good then that will make the difference. Also the money you save by using regular fuels will pay for this!

I used v power diesel for a while and didnt notice any difference so switched back to regular diesel. just kept my injectors clear. Best way although not advised for regular activity is to run the fuel very low, whack in a whole bottle of redex and pretty much run the fuel out. I did this and it worked a treat, mechanic friend gave me this tip!
