    Default Trip computer controls?

I appologise in advance if this has been asked before...I did search but couldnt find anything.

My question is, what happened to the trip' comp' controls on the right stalk on later cars?...while looking at Vec C's ive noticed that the later cars dont have the controls on the stalk, but DO have a trip' comp'....so how exactly is the trip' comp' accessed on these cars?

Seems abit daft to me removing the controls from there anyway...its quite a natural control to use i find.

By using the 'BC' button on the radio and/or steering wheels buttons!!

    Works well, I like it!

    Cheers.

Abit more fiddley than just using the stalk though surely?

Will it work if a trip' comp' stalk is fitted to a later car?

I find the 'new' way easier, its not as far to stretch when you feel the need to check the BC menu! Much better! Although, I prefer the screen with the smaller writing on.

The 'stalk' way is a bit old fashioned I think these days,

I find the rolling buttons very easy to use to control the computer, nav and everything. Took a bit of learning initially just what it would do but I find it amazing just how much you can do with one button that rolls and presses to select.
Despite the cost of living it still seems popular!

To be perfectley honest, I prefer the old style of trip computer, but wouldn't change the colour display I have now for anything else.

As for access to the functions, the older way is more precise, but the new way is as easy once you're used to it.
