Ok been looking at some HID kits on ebay, seem really good but does it matter if they are 35w or 55w kits? which is best?

The difference is, the 55watt are brighter.

The power consumption for both halogen and xenon/HID headlamps is measured in Watts. From memory, standard halogen headlamps are 55 Watt and xenon HID lamps are 35 Watts.

The colour temperature of HID is often quoted in Kelvin, but nothing in the automotive lighting world is measured in kW

Just seen that w their it shouldnt be there, what i think this guys means is light oupput not power consumption as you have stated HID kits run at 35watt or less.
