    Default suspension question

    Finally fitting my springs and shocks on saturday , but going to have to do most of it myself. Just 2 questions: firstly, do i need to remove the splash gaurd thing from inside the wheel arch ? and secondly, is a torx socket the same as a rachet ?

    No mate you dont need to remove the splash gard. And no a torx is a star shaped kinda like an alnkey.. Done mine last weekend easy job!

    No need to remove splash guard craig and no its totally different,a torx socket is a 6 pointed star tool,can get sets at most motor factors or halfrauds...........

    Think its T45 for the top part of the strut to hold the centre while you undo the nut on the strut top to put the spring on

    Nope, t50 torx bit and a 21mm box spanner. also need a 18mm socket and a 17mm spanner.
