dump valve problems

ordered the forge motorsport one of ebay and it does not fit

the blanking plate holes do not line up, any ideas? did they change the turbo on the 2007?

Yes, it was a different turbo on 2007 models, possibly even from 2006.

EDIT: I assumed you were meaning on a 2.0T with you mentioning dump valve, but your profile says 1.9CDTi?

I got the forge dump valve from abbott racing and got 2 cover plates,must be 2 types,if u post me a pic,i'll see if the 1 i did'nt use is different 2 urs and if so u can have it mate!

Yeah, 2.0t. Thats what it must be then, anyone with a dump valve on a 2007?

Do forge do a bigger blanking plate?

The problem is that the holes are wider apart on my car so I cannot get it bolted on.

sounds good mate, will give me a bit of hope lol, Still, have a bsr remap coming tomorrow to look forward to so not all bad.

Pulled out my standard dump valve and the spare cover plate, I think your turbo must be the same as mine because my cover plate looks very similar to the one you got, but take a look and see what you think.

Had the same problem on mine, re fitted the standard valve, put a t-piece in the hose from that to run the tubing for the new dump valve to... job done
