cars going back to the dealers tomorrow!

well ive booked the signum in to hopefully get rear brakes replaced under warranty as the discs are feeked and the pads too

the car apparently had a shed load of money spent on it before going on the forecourt including 4 new springs and front discs and pads (im ttrying to get a copy of PDI to see exactly what was done) it appears they neglected to check the back brakes when they were at it! the discs are goosed and they make the tell tale grinding noise when slowing down, also the back wheels appear to have a heck of alot of brake dust on them so im wonderring if the calipers are a sticking

anyhow ill keep you posted on the outcome

had a few arguements with this dealer before rich so ill see what happens!

keep your cool (easier said than done i know ) and if all else fails give vx customer services a call on there phone

dont think so mate as its done 42k with full vauxhall history mate and its very clean so dont think its been thrashed just think its a case of service department ripping off sales dept

Hi pogo,
I did the same, i bought my siggy in March when it was 11 months old, anyway after towing our van around last week i noticed the rear discs where quite badly scored especially when the car has only covered 18k so i rang up my local vauxhall garage (pentagon in oldham) anyway a bit peeved they did not even look at the car on day 1 Yesterday, but got a call at 16.00 today asking where my locking wheel nut was, I turned up at 17.30 and they had put new discs and pads on. So even though i was gutted at no breakdown cover on the networkq warranty when i bought the car i cannot fault the service.
