I have tried to write instructions and deleted it about four times. It would be loads easier to show you. There might be a good tutorial on the net somewhere -I looked for someone else recently but didnt find anything good.

Essentially you have to select the area you want using a lasso tool and mask feature.

Then you can use colour balance and contrast/brightness for a quick colour change.

Email the picture if you want it doing mate, I will bring the laptop to the next meet and show you.

There was a thread where this was posted about in the past, I know as I posted details in it! lol Damned if i can find it though!

Basically use the Image>Adjustments>Replace Color option and using the + dropper click on the areas of the car to add all the various depths of the colour, using the fuzziness slider to determine how sensitive the dropper is to selecting.

Then use the Hue slider to alter the colour and saturation and lightness ones if required.

This is the tutorial I use when I've done colour changes.

    http://www.photoshoplab.com/change-your-car-color.html

And this seems like a fairly easy to follow tutorial on YouTube:

Digimods is another good tutorial site. Just select from the list on the left.
