Thumbs up My New York Holiday...

Went to New York on a holiday recently - here are a few photos taken by both me and my girlfriend...

Cannot recommend the place enough - especially with Virgin Holidays. Got 10% off for paying with my Virgin Credit Card too...

Before they charged me 1.5% for paying WITH my credit card...

    Anyway - enjoy...

Yeah - we started at one side in daylight listening to the audio commentaries, and by the time we got back round there it was dark...

Empire State Building is now open till 2 in the morning, but damn was it windy up there... Apparently in a 100mph wind the top of the tower moves 1/4"...

Just got back myself today after 10 days holiday in NYC .... Excellent.

We went twice last year on Holiday.

Went with BA from Manchester .... I would recommend, very efficient, polite, punctual and lots of entertainment on the plane (TV, Video etc..)

Feeling a bit Jet Lagged at the moment though

Got back from NYC about 3 weeks ago (also flew out on the Silver Lady!!).

I cannot recommend the place enough to anyone who hasn't been. The one thing I regret is that I can't go back straight away!! So much to see.

The World Trade Centre site was a really strange experience. The size of the site is so large, the memories of the day, the thoughts of so many dead - just left me feeling odd. Glad I visited it though.
