    Default I Give Up.....

Tried several times, without success to create an MP3 CD for use in the car.
It is a CD 70 unit which is MP3 compatible (I am right here arent I?!?!?!). I have tried with itunes, and that created MP4 - which are useless.

I then tried creating a Data Disc using Media Player - only for it to produce WMA files - where the H*ll am I going wrong with this?? Really doing my head in now!

    Any help gratefully accepted!

Have You Heard Of NERO? I have been using it for years making mp3 disks and ive never had a problem with it, think its probably one of the only software out there that actually lets you burn a disk how you want to burn a disk. just start it, click audio cd, then jukebox mp3, drag and drop the files and click burn, it takes seconds!

do you have your mp3 files in folders? Just drag and drop the files onto a blank cd.

Andrew, in WMP all you have to do is select the tracks you want from your ripped CDs and make a playlist, then burn the CD. It will automatically burn these as MP3. Job done.

Created a playlist before D, had 700MB of what I thought would be MP3 files converted to Data. Burnt these onto CD, put it in the car and cam up with "INVALID DISC"

Checked on comp and found that files are WMA files, not MP3's

From WMP select the burn button at the top. Then from your playlist drag the files across to the burn list and select the burn button..

Never done it this way myself but it should work.
