    Good news. Better than replacing a turbo on a whim.

    Don't worry too much about having a few fault codes show up, the car is constantly monitoring and storing anything it comes accross as even slightly untoward.

    Excellent! - second 2.0/2.2 DTi owner in almost as many days that we've sorted out with the split hose problems after them expecting a hefty repair bill for a major component.

    so, pipes it was then!.
    after expecting a bill of £500 or more,i thought it prudent to allow vx to rip me off,by giving them £118 for the new hoses.....drivers side top & bottom come complete with the metal pipe that no one needs......rip off!!!....i will add that the new pipes do not look anywhere near as thick as the old ones....perhaps another vx rip off in the offing.
    sorted the clutch switch too......not a nice job for my 18 stone frame,but i managed it....

    Well done mate, nice not to have a huge bill. But as soon as anything goes wrong why do we all asume it going to cost a fortune to fix, me included.
