Looks I may be ending Vectra C ownership!!!

I am going to my dealer to order an Astra SRi 1.9 CDTi 150.

Three main reasons :-

Cheaper to buy than a Vectra C
Worth more than a Vectra C at 2 years old

I should be ordering the following options

Full Leather with Heated Seats
18" Alloys
Black Paint
VXR Style Pack
Cruise
Colour Sat Nav

well, knowing the cars youve had in the past, i dont think you have any allegenice specific to the vectra so i dont think you will miss it. The Astra is a very capable car and was impressed with the sport hatch i had on loan. Just too small for a family though, hence i got the 2nd vectra.

I'd say go for it if the figures add up.

Do it, I have ordered one for the company.

But the MUST have extra is the panoramic roof. It looks fantastic.

Well I have just found out that the 0% is not on the Astra SRi now, where as the Vectra SRi still has it. But the Astra would have cost me £16800, retail for the above spec is £21335.

Just waiting to see what further deals my dealer offers me. But as a result of the 0% bit, the Vectra SRi still might be done!!!

Logic would say to buy a 6 month old Vectra but as it is not my money I am playing with I think to myself what the hell, get a new one.

It has to be Diesel, the opt out scheme I am on at work is mileage based, hence diesel, I could have a petrol but it would cost me loads more a month and it would mean me spending my own cash on it, I am not prepeared to do that. But thanks for the offer though.

Retail the 3.0 is loads more, plus I have worked out it would cost me an extra £500 a year in fuel. Did think of the Zaffy 1.9, but if the Astra is a no go due to not having 0%.....
