Super Unleaded in a 1.8

Is it safe to use all the time in that car or should I only do so many tank fulls and so many of normal unleaded?

I know it's only a 1.8 but the car feels better to drive and I think the fuel lasts a little longer too!

Or do I just belive that? lol

I use SUL all the time and there's no harm in using it all the time. Also don't believe all the guys that come and say it's pointless using it as they'll probably be diesel owners

I used to use SUL in my 1.8 astra coupe, it started better, ran smoother and seemed to pick up faster. That was good enough for me!

I always use super in mine. But have had a better reason than performance gain etc lately as the local Tesco is doing super @ £1.049 per litre and the normal unleaded is £1.099???? Crazy ain't it, but good for me!!

Just put £50 in mine @ £1.179 a litre! Its filled more than what £45 of unleaded did, will measure see if it lasts better too!

Was only checking as my dad reckons only super performance cars should use SUP! What do dads know!

Cost of fuel is unreal at the moment!

Well I wish that I'd of bought one now but it took me a few months to buy what I did! You can never find what you want when you got the money!

Only mod I can afford is SUP

Missus has just finushed maternity pay and she aint goin back to work till she's passed her test, my lad starts school in Sept and when she feels the baby is old enough to be looked aftered by someone else! lol
