    Default Machine Polishing

Looking for someone who can machine polish the paintworl on my Signum (Ultra Blue).
Washed the car today and the paitnwork is total c**p. The previous owner probably cleaned it with a scouring pad.
Decided that to give me a half decent chance of keeping it looking good it's going to have to be machine polished first, and then I can keep it maintained.
Can anyone recommend someone in my area (West Sussex), and give me a ball park figure of what it may cost?
    Thanks
    Wayne

For a Pro to do it you'll be in the region of at least £300 I'd say, but if you go on to www.detailingworld.co.uk and ask over there on of the highly skilled amateur guys might be willing to do it. Don't be worried if he's not a professional company as a lot of the guys are very skilled and will probably do it cheaper than a Pro.

as mark said try www.detailingworld.co.uk plenty of very skilled amateurs and pro's there sure you'll find plenty of people willing to do it for you, but be warned the site can get you hooked on more and more products, can get expensive

Wayne, if you find somebody maybe see if they could 'do a deal' for doing two? Possibly not as it's still twice the work, but they may knock a bit off. I wouldn't mine my paintwork all nicely corrected.

EDIT: steve posted as I was typing. Hmmm, don't 'spose you'd like some real nice piccies of your car in exchange?

Nice idea about the swap. I did a pink, I mean red corsa well red in the end last month in exchange for a full service.

I am OK at photography just struggle to find backgrounds so no need for pics I'm affraid.

It depends on what you want doing and condition of the paint. If you can get the paintwork clean enought to polish i.e. spotless no tar and claying done the polishing won't take long as Vauxhall has medium to soft paint.

Steve - thanks for your offer, just looking around to get some idea of what will need doing and will definitely be back in touch. Could always come to you if easier.

Still looking around Duncan but will bear this in mind depending what I get sorted. Steve's offer looks favourite at the moment.
