Have you been given the V5 for it?? Or is brand spanking new?? Should say on there to be honest, or get the engine number and whack it into google.
Thats how i got my insurance to sort out the fac that mine was infact a 150, and not a 120 as was listed on their database.
HTH
Thanks bud where do i find the engine number? its a 57 pre registed model no V5 yet
Er..... isnt it stamped on with the Chasis plate, wherever that may be.
Sure it is.....
Its okay got it HPI'd and its going back as i type. So looks like hes getting the Jetta back for now
So it was the wrong engine?????
Yer its the 120 8v Engine so back to Arnold Clark it goes, Time to find another car for arround 17k
Saab 9-3 currently has the same engine range as the Vectra except for the 3.0 CDTI and the following extra engines
1.8t - 150ps Turbo petrol
2.0T - 210ps Turbo petrol
1.9 Ttid Twin Turbo Diesel - 180ps
The Vectra 2.0T petrol is known on the 9-3 as '2.0t'. Also the 1.8 non-turbo petrol on the 9-3 is the old non-VVT one.

Being honest mate we as in me and my dad must have bought 17 maybe 18 cars from there and not had one single problem untill now.
Took it back and got a result any way ended up keeping the SAAB they took a grand off the list price and gave a extended warranty plus three years free servicing for the SAAB and my VEC so to be honest cant really complain.
