    Default Another lowering question !

If i change the springs on the standard SRI suspension by lowering it -30mm, will they fit correctly and not be loose, rattle & clonk or will i need shorter shocks to avoid this ?
I know fitting a full suspension kit is the best way to do it, but i don't want to go to that expense at this moment in time, just want to "Test the water" so to speak then maybe get the shocks later if i'm happy with the feel.

Fil, if you want to go -30 from SRi level then you'll need something like Pi -45mm springs as the SRi already sits at -15 to the 'standard' ride height.. if you fit those -45's you can get away with the standard SRi dampers as they are already shorter in their stroke.. -30's ( -15mm from standard) work well with the standard SRi shocks....

If you buy quality springs ( like eibach or Pi) you won't get fit or rattle issues, can't comment on the cheaper brands..
